Yes - HP Store student discount is available to all students, whether you’re studying part-time, full-time, or through a distance-learning course. Even mature students are welcome to use the offer. All you’ll need is a valid academic email address in order to sign up for your free HP Student Store account. Even sixth form and college students can get the discount! If you don’t have a student email address, don’t worry – simply send proof of enrolment to [email protected] instead

Can I use my HP Store student discount to buy HP products with other retailers?

No – you’ll need to use the other retailers’ student discount schemes if you’re shopping anywhere other than through the HP Student Store.

Are any items excluded from HP Store student discount?

Not all items are included, but the student deals and offers change regularly, so if the item you have your eye on isn’t included now, check back later. Some of the best deals tend to be around the start of the academic year.

HP Instant Ink

HP's newest printers often come with its Instant Ink service (and you can usually get a few months for free when you sign up and purchase a printer). This is a really convenient service, especially for students, as HP monitors your ink levels and automatically sends you new cartridges when you're running low, so you never run out of ink! We use HP Instant Ink ourselves and would definitely recommend it - there's nothing worse than running out of ink when you're printing an assignment and you’re already tight on time!

When you enroll, you’ll be able to pick a plan designed to fit your printing needs. You can change or cancel your plan online at any time, and there’s no annual fee. Ink plans are based on printing a set number of pages per month, but any unused pages roll over – so when you’re off uni during the summer, you should rack up some pages for extra printing needs when you head back.
