Free Iceland food

Iceland is going to be giving food products that are on the last day of their shelf life away for free to online customers to cut down on food waste.

How it works:

• You order your online Iceland shop as usual
• If an item ordered is the only one left and has the same day date, it will be added to your shop and you'll get it for free (previously, all food items ordered and delivered by Iceland would have a shelf life of at least two days)
• You'll be made aware of the free item ahead of delivery
• The scheme includes all chilled, fresh, cakes, bread and morning goods
