Living and renting in Cambridge
Average rent for student accommodation
The big question that you’re probably asking is how much you can expect to pay per week on rent. Of course, the figure varies hugely depending on where exactly you live and what the property itself is like. These figures will give you an idea:
- Mill Road: £100.00-£130.00
- Queen Edith: £110.00-£140.00
- City Centre: £115.00-£150.00
The most popular student areas
Mill Road, Queen Edith and the city centre all have plenty in the way of student accommodation. They also have a strong local student community, so you’re never too far away from shops, bars and restaurants.
All these areas are close to the university campuses, but do make sure that you pick somewhere that isn’t far from transport links.
